Early detection can save lives!
Regular mammograms can help find breast cancer before you notice symptoms, when treatment may be more successful. For women at average risk, screening mammograms are generally recommended every two years from ages 40 to 74, according to the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force. Talk with your healthcare provider about your personal risk and the screening schedule that's right for you.
And remember, if you notice a new lump or an unusual breast change, don't wait for your next screening appointment to get it checked.
